And they're up!

Get on over to the CCC! Surely you need something, certainly you want to check out the gLove orphanage gLoves being sold for only $1.

Here's that lovely pair tagged and ready to go:

And plenty up for sale NOW, right this very minute.

*Don't let these photos make you think they're all basic striped gLoves!
The stripes must have simply been catching my eye the last couple days.
There are lots of different styles and sizes to suit your fancy.

gLove sorting galore

First! Did we ever mention that the original 8, or so (I can't remember exactly) pairs that went up for sale in May went fast? They did! Thanks to those who bought and we would like to believe no doubt are enjoying them.

And now (more thanks to all our gLovers!) there are going to be plenty of pairs ready at the Community Cycling Center for Fall. This is what you've been donating to and we've been saving 'em up for!

I was worried at first upon opening the gLo stash that we hadn't added many new gLoves over the summer. Well obviously, right? But I headed to the CCC to find an overflowing bag of donations, really overflowing. (I was going to insert a photo but it's not that exciting of a photo...)

I would say nearly half the pairs that are getting ready to go up for sale are actually with their original mate, very cool. Maybe not as fun for sorting/ matching purposes but an excellent buy for only $1 at the CCC!

on to the highlights of sorting fun-times

The cutest mitten donated thus far award goes to this special dude:

It does not yet have a new mate...

To our delight the overflowing bag of mittens contained a match to one we've had stashed for months now. You can see that one certainly spent more time on the road, pretty rad to get them back together:

Our favorite new partnership, enjoying their engagement photo shoot:

gLoves waiting in line to be mended. We created a full fingered cycling gLove pair (see 'em buried there?) I hope they can be mended to good-enough shape for sale.

And here they are, the first of the gLoves:
A whole stack - growing, glowing, ready to warm some hands

What a mess!

But lovely disaster of a mission to make those snazzy gLove orphanage tags...

Lots of stamping happening on the floor of my admittedly cluttered room, but look at that army of perfectly imperfect ghost printed mittens ready for the paper cutter (I could geek out more but I'll refrain):

hunting season opens

Did you put on your gloves/ mittens/ pull your jacket sleeves over your hands this morning? We did!

And with the weather's inevitable turn this week we're calling the official start of hunting season for orphan gLoves.

Time to put on your plaid cap (dayglo bike helmet?) and continue that daily bike commute - or jaunt around the neighborhood - and be on the lookout.

Thanks in advance for helping the lost babes find a happy home.

Here's one Dave found just yesterday.
